The instrument is designed and made as per the National Standard of People’s Republic of China GB/T4508 “Test Methods for Ductility of Petroleum Asphalt”, and T0605 “Asphalt Ductility Test” in the Industry Standard of People’s Republic of China JTJ052 Specification and Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixture for Highway Engineering. It is suitable to determine the length of asphalt when it is elongated to broken at a specified temperature and speed as per GB/T4508 and JTJ052-T0605. It is indicated by cm. I. Main technical characteristics 1. It adopts human oriented design theories. There is no thread rod, guide rail, and other device in the test bath, so it is convenient to install sample. It adopts the latest design of driving part, so it is stable, synchronous, even and without any shake. The ductility values can be precisely displayed. The maximum elongation length is 1.0 meter. 2. It adopts microcomputer controlling technologies. The test data can be automatically printed by a micro-printer. It is equipped with RS232 port, so it can communicate with a computer. 3. It has a force measurement device, so it can determine force for one sample during ductility test. II. Main technical specification and parameters 1. Power supply: AC 220V (-5%~+10%), 50 Hz; 2.
