It is used for measuring the weight of mud in well site and laboratory,unit is g/mm3.It is a balance with different length’s lever.It’s lever knife edge is placed on the stand which can be fixed on the workbench,on the left of the lever has graduate sliding poise,move the sliding poise can directly read the mud weight on the surveyor's rod.The level bubble on the top of the lever can control the balance of the lever.
