The Seventh Session of Analytical Instruments Association of China Instrument Society on 22-23 October 2007 has a grand opening in Xiedao Resort ,Shunyi ,Beijing.More than 150 members across the country participated in the meeting.

The "work report" reported by Mr. Wang Shunchang on behalf of the 6th council has reviewed,many works, cases of organization construction,some problem for the five years has concluded and suggest for the future work and voted the 7th council and leaders of the association.

It was mentioned in the Report that for the five years under the lead of the superior society and the council,in the guiding spirit of promoting industrial development and technical development in manufacture and application of the analytical instruments and serving for the economic construction,the association alone or with another partners has held some campaigns for 15 times,such as national academic exchange, professional BBS,etc. ,published 1361 papers and 2965 people has participated academic exchanges。

Among these campaign,the 2th Sino-Japan-Korea Academic Conference on ion chromatography-the 11^th national academic report conference on ion chromatography held on November in Hangzhou,” 2004-2005 new product forum of instrument industry”and “Instrument Sharon” in co-sponsor with Instrument Information Network in May,2005 are impressive.In addition,the association has organized a series of work to promote subject development, enterprise innovation and industrialization,such as organizing domestic manufacturers to foreign capital enterprise for visit and study,concerned proficients published "Use and Maintenance of Analytical Instruments" series books at chemical industry press, to establish and modify testing standard of s,these are helpful for the development of the analytical instrument industry.

Mr. Wang Shunchang said that the Instrument Information Network had given great support for the association and the website-www.fxxh.org.cn.Now the construction work of the first section of the website almost complete,as well as the online membership function。

Mr. Yan Chengde was elected chairman of the new Institute，Wang Shunchang,Li Changhou and other ten people were elected as the seventh Vice Chairman,Mr.liu changkuan continued to serve as the new Secretary-General, 53 people were elected as executive director of the new Institute,more than 150 people were elected as new director, Miss Tang Haixia, principals of Instrument Information Network was elected as Deputy Secretary-General and Executive Director of the Seventh Council,Dr. Wangzhi, principals of Instrument Information Network was elected as the new director

After the vote Mr.Yan Chengde, chairman of the new Institute gave the following speech:the association should devote itself to strengthen combination with other concerned association,strengthen cooperation with the relevant government departments, assist more project of producing,study and research on instruments into the major national program. In addition, the Institute will also give special attention to the following problem equipment manufacturers need to solve: the talent, the industrial concentration is low and scattered, technical problems such as the source. Additionally, the Institute will also services for its members through making full use of the network platform and database

Designated as the professional website of the Institute, Instrument Information Network will co-operate with the new Council and try to make greater contributions to the healthy and rapid development of the Chinese instrument industry
